Apartments Chalet Soredl - :) We liked it! [21]

Alta Badia and Chalet Soredl... wonderful

I am writing this on behalf of 9 Australians, who have spent a week each year for the last 30 years skiing in Australia. We had heard very favorable reports of the Dolomiti and decided to book a two week adventure holiday in Alta Badia. Our requirement was a large apartment with sufficient space for 9 adults, self catering, and ski in, ski out access. The large apartment at Chalet Soredl meet our requirements and exceeded our expectations. The building is virtually new, exceptionally well maintained by Wally and her husband Luigi (Louis).
Their daughter Julia spoke excellent English, and was a wiz at providing wifi access for our tablets and smartphones. The apartments are comprehensively equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We booked two apartments, the large one was our living apartment (3 bed, 2 showers), and the 2 bed apartment had a sofa bed in the living area, providing private accommodation for up to 3 couples. The dining table in the large apartment comfortably sat 9 people. They were well heated, common areas, including ski room, were serviced daily. The building has a large garage for up to 8 cars, and common "user pay" laundry. The building is a 500 metre walk to the supermarket, down quite a steep hill. Ski access is excellent with direct access to the Gardenazza lift, and access via two short access lifts to the Piz La Ila Gondola. Luigi arranged a discounted on our ski hire and transported the skis, and our groceries up the hill in his station wagon. This was greatly appreciated. We would unreservedly recommend the Dolomites, Alta Badia, and Chalet Soredl for a group ski holiday. Our thanks to Wally, Luigi and Julia for looking after us so well and making our holiday a big success!
