SAN CASSIANO IN BADIA
The village rises to 1,537 m above sea level at the bottom of the imposing walls of the Conturines, the Lavarella, the Settsass and the Lagazuoi. San Cassiano is a small village in the famous Alta Badia. Here a great compromise between the reality of mountain life and the needs of the people who live here was found. San Cassiano is surrounded by the beautiful Dolomites and is a well known vacation spot in winter and in summer. Armentarola is a beautiful area and in winter a paradise for cross-country skiers. In summer San Cassiano is the ideal starting point for fascinating walks close to nature.
